Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Sendveo for the dashboard, the API, the MCP server and the documentation. We wrote them in plain language, so please read them before you create an account.
1. Who we are
Sendveo is a WhatsApp messaging gateway for businesses, offered at sendveo.com. In these terms, "Sendveo", "we" and "us" mean the business that runs it, and "you" means the person or company that holds the account.
By creating an account or using Sendveo, you accept these terms. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to act for it.
2. What Sendveo does
Sendveo lets you connect WhatsApp numbers you control, then send and receive messages on them from our dashboard, our REST API, a webhook on your own systems, and AI assistants that support MCP.
Sendveo never writes, schedules or sends messages on its own. Every message it sends is one that you, your systems or an assistant you connected asked it to send.
Sendveo is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp is a trademark of its owner.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract to open an account. Sendveo is a service for businesses and professionals.
- Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your email address up to date: it is how we reach you.
- Keep your password and API keys secret. Anything done with them is treated as done by you.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.
4. Your WhatsApp numbers
Only connect numbers that you own or are authorised to use. A connected number works as a linked device of the phone that holds it, like WhatsApp on a computer. Before a number counts as connected, Sendveo checks that the number paired is the one you declared.
WhatsApp has its own terms and policies, and they still apply to how you use your number. WhatsApp can limit or ban a number, for example after people report unwanted messages. Those decisions belong to WhatsApp alone: we cannot prevent or reverse them.
A number can also disconnect on its own, for example when its phone stays offline for a long time or when the linked device is removed from the phone. You can reconnect it from the dashboard.
5. Acceptable use
You are responsible for the messages sent from your account and for having the right to send them. You must not use Sendveo to:
- send spam, or bulk messages to people who did not ask to hear from you;
- send anything illegal, fraudulent, misleading, threatening or harassing, or content that infringes the rights of others;
- collect or use personal data without a legal basis, or keep writing to someone who asked you to stop;
- break the terms and policies of WhatsApp;
- access the data of another customer, probe or break our security, or overload the service;
- share your account or your API keys with people outside your organisation.
If you break these rules, we may pause the numbers or the account concerned, or close the account. Unless the law or the urgency of the risk prevents it, we will first tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it.
6. API keys, webhooks and AI assistants
- API keys are shown once, when you create them. We keep only a fingerprint of each key, so we cannot show it again: store it safely, and revoke it if it leaks.
- Webhooks send the messages and events of your numbers to the address you set. You are responsible for that address and for what happens to the data once it arrives there.
- AI assistants you connect through MCP act for you, with the permissions you approve. What they send or read counts as your use of Sendveo, and the company behind each assistant handles your data under its own terms.
- Limits on how fast and how much you can send protect your numbers and the service. The documentation describes them.
7. Prices, charges and payment
You pay per connected WhatsApp number per month, with unlimited messages and no per-message fees. The current price is on our pricing page. If we agreed a different price with you, the price shown on the Billing page of your dashboard applies.
- Billing period. A number connected at any time in a calendar month is charged for that whole month. There is no proration.
- Charges on your account. Each number is charged one month at a time, in US dollars. A number paid by card is charged by our payment processor every month. A number activated with credit is charged on your account: one month at activation, then one month on the first day of each following month, the renewal date. Every charge and every credit is listed on the Billing page of your dashboard, with the credit available on your account.
- Payment. You pay by card through our payment processor, or by bank transfer that Sendveo credits to your account. Our payment processor handles card payments and we never see your card number; its receipt is your record of a card payment, and Sendveo issues no document of its own. Money received by bank transfer is recorded as credit on your account as soon as it arrives.
- Credit on your account. If your account holds credit, you can use it to activate numbers yourself. Each activation charges one full month per number to your account straight away, and the charge appears in the history on your Billing page. From then on, each of those numbers is renewed from your credit on the first day of every month.
- Taxes. Sendveo is not registered for VAT today, so our prices carry no tax line and the charges on your account carry no tax. If tax becomes due on this service later, we add it to the charges made from that point on; charges already made do not change.
- Refunds. There are no refunds and no proration. A month that has started is billed in full, even if you disconnect a number before it ends; disconnecting stops the billing from the following month. Credit already on your account is not lost: it stays available and you can use it to activate numbers whenever you want.
8. Account hold
We may put your account on hold in two situations: a monthly renewal on your account is unpaid, or you are in breach of these terms in another way. A monthly renewal that your credit did not cover puts the account on hold automatically once it is more than 7 days past its renewal date. While your account is on hold:
- you can still sign in, see the credit on your account and read your history of charges and credits;
- the dashboard, the API and connected AI assistants cannot send or read messages;
- your numbers stay linked and incoming messages are kept, but they are not sent to your webhook, neither during the hold nor afterwards.
The hold lasts until the reason for it is resolved: every unpaid renewal settled, and any other breach of these terms corrected. Settling an unpaid renewal does not lift a hold placed for another reason, and correcting a breach does not lift a hold placed for an unpaid renewal.
We lift the hold once we have checked that the reason for it no longer applies. If you are not sure why your account is on hold, contact us.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Sendveo running, but we cannot promise that it will never be interrupted. The service depends on WhatsApp, on our messaging infrastructure provider and on our hosting provider, and any of them can have outages we cannot fix ourselves. No uptime commitment applies unless we sign one with you.
We may improve, change or remove features. When a change removes something you rely on, we will tell you in advance by email or in the dashboard whenever we reasonably can.
10. Your content and the data of your customers
The messages, contacts, files and other content in your account belong to you. You allow us to store, process and transmit them only as far as needed to run the service for you.
For the personal data of the people you talk to, you decide why and how it is used, and we process it on your instructions. You are responsible for having a legal basis to message them and for answering their requests about their data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
The Sendveo software, brand, documentation and design belong to us. These terms do not transfer any of them to you.
11. Cancelling and closing an account
You can stop whenever you want. Disconnect your numbers from the dashboard: a disconnected number is no longer billed from the next calendar month. A month that has already started is billed in full.
To close your account completely, contact us. We then delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy, except the records the law requires us to keep, such as the history of charges and credits on your account.
We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or that leaves a monthly renewal unpaid. An unpaid renewal first puts the account on hold automatically, 7 days after its renewal date, as section 8 describes. If it is still unpaid 60 days after that renewal date, we may close the account and delete its data, keeping only the records the law requires us to keep, such as the history of charges and credits. We will warn you first, unless the breach puts other people or the service at risk.
12. Liability
Sendveo is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost customers or lost data, nor for losses caused by WhatsApp, by a restriction placed on a number, or by events outside our reasonable control.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
You are responsible for claims made against Sendveo because of messages you sent or content you stored in breach of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. When a change matters for you, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard before it applies.
If you keep using Sendveo after the change applies, the new terms apply to you. If you do not accept them, you can close your account before that date.
14. Disputes
If you have a complaint, contact us first and we will try to settle it with you.
If we cannot settle it together, the dispute is brought before the courts competent for Sendveo's registered seat, unless the law gives you the right to go to another court.
